Manager on Duty Intern

A day as...
You’ve got a nice morning shift this weekend. After your days off, you catch up by reading through the handovers and you're all up to date. You take a walk through the hotel, join the handover meetings with Front Office, Housekeeping, and the restaurant. You check if everything is spotless for the breakfast service and if the hotel entrance looks presentable and it does! Everything’s ready to welcome guests with peace of mind.
Your round continues through the hallways where students live. Uh-oh, clearly there was a party last night but you handle it smoothly with the students involved. You inspect three rooms for cleanliness and complete the checklist with a critical eye. The reception calls you: an angry guest is downstairs, complaining about a room being too warm. You head down quickly and resolve the issue perfectly. The guest checks out satisfied.
You finish your round, fluff a few pillows in the lobby, and make sure that all guests and colleagues feel safe and welcome once again.

You ensure service and safety at all times
You make guests and students happy, naturally responding to their feedback
You take on projects in coordination with the Front Office Manager
You independently run a shift as the Front Office Supervisor
You promote guest loyalty
You respond to guest reviews across various channels
You help maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel and regularly coordinate with housekeeping and facilities
You check the status of the rooms

As Manager on Duty, you’ll become part of the Front Office team! A young and driven team with a passion for Guest Service and process optimization. You’ll work alongside another MOD intern and two full-time MOD colleagues. Together, you’ll be guided by Anouk, our Junior Front Office Manager.
