Shiftleader

A day as...
Your day starts with a good cup of coffee and the Daily, containing all of yesterday’s figures. You notice there weren’t many upsells, so you make a plan and coach your colleagues to improve this. It’s a busy morning at the Front Office with lots of guests checking out, so you jump in and help. It gives you a real boost to see guests leaving happy!
Last week, a new intern started who still needs a lot of guidance. You work closely beside her so she can ask you all her questions.
Once things calm down (and your coffee has gone cold), you join HR to conduct an interview with an enthusiastic potential intern who’s eager to learn. Just what you’re looking for! As soon as you wrap up the interview, suddenly the fire alarm goes off! Oops! You seize the moment and coordinate the team. Everyone immediately knows what to do. Fortunately, it’s a false alarm!
Later, you notice that one of your colleagues isn’t feeling their best, so you take them aside for a quick chat to let them get things off their chest. After a good pep talk, they return to the desk with a smile. That feels good!
Before finishing your shift, you check what tomorrow will bring so you know exactly how busy it will be and how the schedules look. That way, you and your colleagues won’t face any surprises.
